Paint By Numbers Release your inner artist at this fantastic, interactive feature display! Celebrate your childhood by filling in the blanks on our massive ‘paint-by-numbers’ canvas. For a small donation visitors can take part in Craftfest history and make their mark. Plus images of the painting and our painters will be broadcast on the Craftfest website, so everyone can watch the canvas come to life. After the show, the canvas will be donated to a children’s charity.
So come along and grab a brush – not only will you have great fun, you will also be contributing to a wonderful cause.

The Great Apron Challenge Embroidered, patched, stencilled, stitched, stamped, appliquéd, ruffled, lacy, dyed, pleated, reversible, beaded, buttoned, tied – APRONS ARE BACK IN STYLE! With everything vintage and retro-inspired being oh so trendy at the moment, aprons are coming out of the kitchen drawer and flirting with fashion. From bib and waist aprons to smocks and cobbler aprons… they are appealing, attractive and awfully cute!
Take part in The Great Apron Challenge. Spend an hour getting creative and making an apron, then parade it down the catwalk in front a panel of judges. There will be three winners each day and by Sunday night one lucky winner will walk away with a brand new Bernina sewing machine! And to come and stitch along, visitors will see some wonderful examples of ‘apron art’ created by our clever Craftfest exhibitors.
